As part of the 30th-annual Penguin Plunge, teams from CVU, Hinesburg Community School and Williston Schools raised nearly $50,000 for Special Olympics Vermont.

Last Saturday, January 18, several teams from Champlain Valley School District competed and earned awards at the FIRST Lego League Vermont State Championships.

January marks National Mentoring Month, and Champlain Valley School District is celebrating 25 years of Connecting Youth’s mentoring program. The program, founded in 2000, has paired thousands of mentors with local students, providing support during pivotal moments in their lives.
