Hazing, Harassment, and Bullying
Champlain Valley School District is committed to providing all students with a safe and supportive school environment in which all members of the school community are treated with respect.
Our policy and procedures on the prevention of hazing, harassment, and bullying (HHB) supports us in providing these safe, welcoming, and engaging experiences in our schools.
Title IX
In K-12 schools, Title IX prohibits sex-based discrimination and harassment in any educational program or activity receiving federal funds.
If you have something to report regarding alleged conduct that may fall under Title IX, contact your building principal or assistant principal. They will take your report, and send it immediately to the Title IX coordinator.
Once the Title IX coordinator receives the report of conduct, they will contact you directly to:
- Offer supportive measures
- Explain the process for filing a formal complaint
