The CVSD School Board is committed to following Vermont's Open Meeting Law. The following procedures should be followed to submit a notice of an alleged open meeting law violation.

CVSD Procedures for submitting a notice of an open meeting law violation 

The school board has received two alleged open meeting law violations related to the June 30, 2026 board meeting. The board determined that no such violation occurred and has provided the responses below. 

The statute does not require that the public body (i.e. the School Board) hold a meeting to determine the response to the alleged violation, and the Board did not deem it necessary to do so.
