  • Breakfast and Lunch are available daily during the school year.
     
    HCS strives to serve whole grain breads and brown rice and pastas.  We serve a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables daily, over 5 different fresh fruits every week.  We offer 100 percent orange juice, fat free or 1% white milk and fat free chocolate milk every day.  Chocolate milk is no longer offered at breakfast.  All soups are homemade and we never fry any of our food.
     
    In addition to the menu selections, we also offer daily:
    • Hot Lunch Entree
    • Fruit and Vegetable cart
    • Pre-made-to-order Sandwich bar

  • USDA guidelines require all schools to serve meals with twice as many fruits and vegetables, more whole grains, less sodium and fat. The guidelines were mandated by the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act.  HCS proudly complies with these USDA guidelines.
