Take a moment to enjoy the two new murals at Williston Central School: a 4x6 foot mural at the front entrance; and a larger 6x12 foot mural at the after-hours entrance.
Students were asked to make drawings about the themes of: diversity & inclusion; and sustainability.
The artist-in-residence, Sally Duback, composited those drawings and projected the composition onto large panels, which students outlined, then painted with Sally.
Williston Central School teachers, Julie Rogers and Sara Beeken, conceived of and coordinated this week-long project.
Come see the results! Here are a few photos that show the process.
